A Week of Parties

Another good week in the books. Between me working both jobs, and Darci getting caught up on her classes and taking midterms, our week started out pretty normal with not a whole lot of excitement besides playing with Carly every waking, non working moment. Our parties started on Friday with Shane turning 49! We all went out to Pizza Hut and then to Tiffany and Corey's for a game of poker, which Darci won with me in a very distance second. :) Saturday we met up real quick for a dinner for Kaycee's 21st at Jody and Kyle's and then some of us stayed to play Apples to Apples to fill out the evening. Sunday was Mother's Day, I was very excited for Darci's first Mother's Day and am glad it turned out to be a great day. We got up and went to Church, which was a wonderful service at Mountain, with our friend Tony leading worship and Jim sharing a great message for Mother's Day. We went home and ate some lunch, and decided that we should take a little nap.. 3 hours later we realized that we only had 15 min to get ready and get over to Jody and Kyle's for a BBQ. As we were headed out the door, I decided that we should show up in style on our bicycles, so we did and Carly loved it as she has every time, putting her in a great mood to see Grandma Jody. We had a very nice evening talking and watching home movies. We are looking forward to getting to Idaho soon to celebrate Mother's Day with Grandma Kelly. We are truly a blessed family and thank God every day for all of it!
