Our First Vacation!

Carly is 3 weeks old this weekend! She is growing up fast. We had a very eventful weekend starting on Friday. We were supposed to leave first thing in the morning for Portland, but God had blessed us once again with a new job for me. I am now working with Epic Scan, a 3D Laser Scanning company here in Medford, as well as still helping out at Farber Surveying on an on-call basis. Back to our weekend, we got out of town about 6pm and made it up to Hillsboro with only two stops for Carly. We had a nice evening with Draci’s cousins Jamie, Natalie and Whitney. We finally made it to Darci’s Grandparents in Vancouver around 3am, and the three of us snuggled into the motor home that was waiting up for us. Saturday, we celebrated Grandma and Grandpa Nicholson’s 50th wedding anniversary. We had fun with all of the family, and got tons of pictures, even one of the five generations of girls. Most importantly this weekend, Carly went on her first ride on a scooter with me! Sunday we packed up and went down to Lake Oswego to see Uncle Mark and Fred. We had a nice lunch and had a great time visiting. We made it back home with just enough time for Hannah and Janelle to come meet Carly before we all passed out smiling from another amazingly blessed week.
